At Hastings Optical, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Returns/Exchanges:

  • You have 1 calendar week to return/exchange an item from the date you received it.
  • To be eligible for a return/exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
  • Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds:

  • Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
  • If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original method of payment.
  • You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Exchanges:

  • If you need to exchange an item for a different one, please contact us. You will be responsible for any price difference and additional shipping costs.
  • Items can only be exchanged for items of equal or lesser value.

Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Items:

Please note that certain items are non-refundable and non-returnable. These items include:  

  • Customised or prescription lenses are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.
  • Personalised or engraved items.
  • Gift cards.

These items cannot be returned or refunded unless there is a manufacturing defect or error on our part.

Shipping:

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
